Just before I head off for warmer climes, TC23 sneaks its way upon an unsuspecting universe. So, what can the reader expect? Another 96-page issue, crammed full of pop-cultural weirdness from around the world, would seem like a fair bet. But if you want specifics, how about the philosophical connection between Duran Duran and David Icke, plus how this ties together with the New World Order and the British Royal Family? And that's just two pages; there's another 94 left... Cult suicide and the possible Nazi influence on Tom and Jerry fill up a few more.

But it's not all such world-shattering stuff! There's Twinkies for a start - snack-food of the gods. And superheroes galore: the rubber-suited wrestling ones of Kaiju; the ones to be found on American highays; and another dose of action heroines from A to Z. And you also get women-in-prison films, warrior princesses, The Bare Wench Project and Denise Richards - well, the movie she'd rather forget, anyway... That should whet your appetite!
